BOSCH CDR

Crash data retrieval retrieves info from the airbag sensor.

Sometimes called the "black box"

We can connect directly to the car or you can send the device to us.

Can save more collisions and always the last one.

Contact us to see which car models are possible to read.

When reading, we can collect, among other things, the following information:

  • Saves 5 seconds before collision.

  • CAN (CAN-bus) control area network

    • Speed

    • Steering wheel angle

    • Throttle / brake

    • If ABS has been activated

    • Gear

    • Timestamp date/time

    • Engine speed

    • etc

Autel

Diagnostic Autel (OBD- On board diagnostic)

reads fault codes on the car.

- Defects in the car before collisions.

Defects caused by the collision.

- Some vehicles display speed before collision.

PC Crash

Computer simulations of vehicle collisions

PC-Crash has been around since 1990 and was developed by DSD Dr. Steffan Datentechnik in Linz. Austria, there are approx. 6,000 users in the world and the program is used by Volvo, BMW, Mercedes, Audi, the Danish Accident Commission, the Danish Army.

PC-Crash can be used to simulate up to 32 collisions in both 2D and 3D. Used for collisions – vehicle against vehicle, vehicle against pedestrians/cyclists, collisions against fixed objects such as trees, houses, railings and posts.

The program calculates all parameters, such as weight, passengers, tires, load, suspension in relation to the weight and much more. In the program, you enter the known values of vehicles, passengers, speeds and ground/environment, etc. It can e.g., relate to wanting to find out the speed of a vehicle or whether it is possible to maintain a certain speed on a particular stretch of road. That one simply wants to test an alleged sequence of events.
